I want to wear some sort of veil to enhance my ‘bridal’ expreince. I am just not sure what looks best/what is appropraite. I have never been married before (1st wedding) but we already have kids. Im mid 30’s as well….
Also would ivory be better then blush or champainge?
HERE IS THE DRESS:
Here is veil option one, chapel lenght tulle veil in blush:
A blush cathedral lenght veil with edges (kinda horsehair tulle looking). I would get it shorter…probably chapel lenght.
Final option birdcage veil in blush:

I voted for the chapel length in blush. I think that length will work well and I’m not personally a fan of veils with edges.
When it comes to the colour I think it really depends on if you can get the blush to be the same colour as your dress. If it’s a slightly different blush I would think you’re better off going ivory and being deliberately different.

OneDayMrsL: good point! I never ought of that! Better to deliberately different that slightly off and noticable…..

I think a cathedral with a raw edge would be beautiful with that dress and simple so it wouldn’t compete with the stunning details on your dress.

Mrs.Z.: As much as I love horsehair tulle, I voted for the chapel length in blush. I think I like the plain one better because there is so much texture already on the dress.
On a side note, I am still so stinkin happy for you that you got that gown!

tksjewelry: AutumnRose781: Thanks Ladies! I am stuck. The pole reinfornced my initial feelings about the birdcage, but I was a little unsure about the other two. I think your right that you dont want to compete with the dress….
I just LOVE that veil so much with the horsehair tulle….I can imagine how great my photos will be. lol. I was concerned it was a little much for my dress since the back has lots of details. My other thought was to have a much shorter single layer veil made (finger tip?) with the horse hair tulle, but I think the plain tulle is the way to go.

I wish there was a bigger gap in the pole! lol.

AutumnRose781: I am soooo stinken happy I got the dress too! Its so funny how I literally spent so much time of ebay and preowned just lusting after dresses and I all of a sudden feel settled. I see my dress is actually here as well, just not ready for pick up just yet (booo urns!). It will be ready by Monday though appearently!
