Okay girls, I need some help choosing a favor for our wedding. Fiance and I have narrowed it down but are having a bit of trouble deciding which option would be the guests’ favorite. Most of them are edible since, hey, people like to eat! haha. But the photobooth/wall is also an idea, we’d just have to come up with a few hundred dollars extra.
So the choices are…
Fortune cookies dipped in pink chocolate and with a white heart sprinkle. The fortune will be related to love and marriage.
Hershey bar with a super cute wrapper.
Cake pops, they would be pink
Personalized shortbread cookies
Or spend the extra few hundred on this awesome photobooth…well, I guess it’s more of a wall than a booth. My coordinator’s huband is a photog and would run it for us.

i like the cake pops or the shortbread cookie! i’m not a fan of the taste of fortune cookies, and hershey isn’t my fave. for the photobooth/wall, would the pics be ones the guests could take then and there? like, polaroid style? as much fun as it is, if it isn’t soemthing they can take away instantly i don’t think of it as much of a “favor,” more just like something fun

The photo-booth wall is soooo adorable…where exactly do you find one of those?????

I voted for the cookies because it was more personalized than the other options…
While I really like the photo booth idea, you would also have to take into consideration the cost of the printing of photos for your guests to take home as a favor. I’m a bargain gal, so I didn’t vote for this one even though it’s a cool idea. 🙂

@finnaroo: The photos would be printed and given to the guests on-site at no addtional charge, so that is included!
@Irishb: My day of coordinator’s husband actually runs it, isn’t it so cute? I love it, just debating if it’s worth the extra $$. It’s my favorite option but Fiance is all about saving money wherever we can.

I made (with the help of my sister and aunt) 400 of these. THe total cost will be around $50 for 200 favors (each guest gets 2 cookies) in a cellophane bag with a ribbon and tag. I think all of your options are great, but if you are trying to save $$, I would recommend diying these.

Cake pops are also SUPER easy and inexpensive to make. I cake box = ~ 40 cake pops. Easy and fun to make.

I think the photobooth wall will be the most memorable and last longer than the day…. – the edible things might be yummy, but will be gone in a blink.

I don’t think weddings/marriage should be about luck or fortune, IMO, and not everyone likes having their picture taken. Hershey’s is ok (haha see username!) but if you could DIY the cake pops (super easy!) or shortbread cookies, to me as a guest that would be so much more memorable 🙂
