I’m not a huge fan of the way it looks overall to be honest, I think it draws too much attention to your nice (and obviously large) bust!

@CollegeBee3:  I think you can do better after seeing you in the other ones. I mostly dont like how the beading cuts through your chest. I say keep looking. You might be able to find a fabulous sample on sale that you would love!

@CollegeBee3:  +1. I think its really ill fitting, even if it was your size. A drop waist fit-n-flare dress might not work for you. Have you considered any other shapes?

@HisQueen2Be:  Plus, by the sound of your comment….you don’t sound like you love it either. 😛

I don’t think it is the best silhouette for you, or maybe just the skirt hits you a little bit too low (it wouldn’t the most flattering dress on me either).  I think it makes you look heavier than I bet you are.  If you want to show off your curves, maybe try a slim-a line dress.  You still get the form fitting sexiness in a shape that is more universally flattering (that is what I ended up with).

@HisQueen2Be:  lol I did the same with my dress posts. Only now I’m going to keep looking at dresses because the one I want is a bit much price-wise.

@HisQueen2Be:  I wanted to stay around $2k for the dress and alterations, but the Mori Lee I like is $1800 with tax + $450 alterations quote (from the bridal shop). It’s beautiful, but my inner bargain hunter wants to find a comparable dress for less now that ive come down from the clouds, lol.

Think you must be pretty tall. I agree with mgbser that the skirt is too low and it seems to make you look boxy up top even the the boobs. I’d like to see something that has a drop waist a-line that shows off a slim waist but gives some volume to the hip and below area. Are you holding your shoulders up? Was the top edge of the chest tight ?

I think the boobs look great, but the waist could come up a tad to give you less-square hips.  The rouching might seem forgiving, but it’s potentially extra bulk.  One idea is to buy some shape wear from a Latina store that includes hip padding to round out your hourglass a bit more.

@HisQueen2Be:  I give you… 5’4 or so! And I’m glad you didnt take the honest opinions to heart here. I have seen some pretty harsh stuff when people as for honest opinions on here. On a positive note, I think the color of the dress works for you! Its not stark/bleached white, but soft – eggshell but not quite Ivory.
