Hi Bees! – I am trying to purchase bulk votives for my wedding reception. I looked at sites like Cudge, Candles4Less, Yummi Candles, etc. However, with the exception of Amazon, none of the other sites really had any reviews on the burn time of the candles. I’d like to know from others that I have used these votives what you thought… did they actually last as long as they say? I am a little skeptical about the $20 for 72 votives at Yummi.
I need 10 hours of burn time.

I purchased these.. only 1 reviewer says they only lasted 2 1/2 hours.. but I’m guessing they didn’t cut the wick down like you’re supposed to. Most of the reviews say they lasted through their wedding reception.

I got the votives from Yummy candle as they were insanely inexpensive compared to most… and they are fantastic. I got some extras that i could burn before the wedding to test burn time and im definite they were 10 hour!

What about Ebay? You can practically find anything on there…

I ordered 288 votives for $50.00 at quickcandles.com. They have a burn time of 10 hours. I just bought plain white ones since I don’t want colored or scented. I also plan to order a variety of pillar candles that come in various heights, the pack is 36 pillars for $140.00.
I wanted to buy ivory because our wedding is vintage rustic, but it was$10.00 extra and I just didn’t want to spend another $10.00 when white will work just fine.

NurseMandie: Thanks so much! I ended up ordering votives and pillars from QuickCandles.com and they were perfect! A few votive holders came chipped/cracked, but they were so quick to send replacements.
