    I'm going to put 4 candle holders aroun my centerpieces.

    Here are the Tealights:

    Votives or Tealights? : wedding Damask Tealights

    and here are the Votives (the one on the far left):

    Votives or Tealights? : wedding Damask Votive

    My centerpieces are 20 inch clear square vases. They will have a rose arrangement on top and have vase filler with floralytes. They will be sitting on damask table squares.

    So what do you think?

    I like the tealights, but you can use the votives for your head/sweetheart table.

    I'd say go with the votives cause they have a better chance of lasting all night. You'd end up having to have someone go and switch out all the tea lights when they're dead.

    @misscamera: good point!! Laughing

    but somehow i like the tea lights more... i think they'd look lovely on a damask table setting! plus i think they stand out more too.

    I would go with votives... they last longer.

    I have to ask, you don't think it would be too much with votives or tealights in damask on top of the damask table squares do you? I would hate to know that they got lost in all that b/w damask! Maybe test out both in a mockup!

    I agree, damask on damask might be too much. I would say the votives because they have more weight and are less likely to cause problems with an open flame.

    Do u have a pic of your centerpeice?

    I'm big on proportions and the height of the tealights vs. the votives might look better depending on what your centerpeice looks like.
