- Wedding: September 2012
Hi! I’m kinda new. Actually I set this up before my wedding last year but never used it. SO I have to plan a Vow Renewal and not really sure where to start. I’m trying to keep it as inexpensive as possible. I found out that my dad isn’t doing too well. And I feel bad because he wasn’t at my wedding and didn’t walk me down the aisle. My parents and I haven’t really seen eye to eye on some of my decisions. I just started talking to my mom again which has been going great and I really think that we are building a relationship again. I am my moms only daughter so I think that getting married without her really hurt her. I know that a Vow Renewal isn’t the same but it’s the least I can do for her and my dad. And let’s not mention that my wedding was chaos. The best man showed up to my wedding with a pinkish red mohawk and lost my wedding band. My maid of honor and bridesmaid walked out on me 3 hours before the ceremony, took the dresses that my biological mom paid for, all because I told them to be sober. Not too much to ask right? Anywho, now that you know a little bit of the bs that I went through that day, maybe you can give me some advice on how to keep the Renewal inexpensive, relaxing, causal, and lovely all at once.
