While planning my wedding I wanted to exchange both the normal to have and to hold vows as well as ones we wrote ourselves. When I asked my groom if he would wright his own he tells me he wants to exchange those vows with just the two of us makeing it something verry personal to us not for everyone else to hear. Now I am wracking my brains to figure out how we can do this as he will not see me befor our ceremony. we are doing a few pre-wedding pictures with him being blindfoled so maybe then? any sugestions?

Does it have to be in a “vow” form? I’m thinking you can maybe go the love letter route and write it as a beautiful note/card and read it prior to the wedding, similar to how the b+g wedding gifts are exchanged. Plus, this will give you great photo ops and something to store as momentos afterwards.

@lilbluebird: I think that’s a good idea. Have someone deliver his to you, and yours to him. You can read them before the ceremony, and you’ll both know what each had to say as you come down the aisle
