Those are great vows! I seriously love them. I think you have a typo in the first line "now" instead of "not" but otherwise fabulous.
very nice! we haven't worked on our vows yet (got 8 months) but i def will be including some humor.
I think the joke in the beginning is funny and a good ice breaker. My favorite vow is the "point of strength".
Have you said them outloud and pretended like you are at the ceremony? I wouldn't do the joke at the end because I think it takes away from the serious vows, which are beautiful. But that's just my opinion. If it is your personality to joke all the time, then you should go for it.
Awww...very nice!
As a self-professed grammar nerd, there's one small change I would make.
I would change, "I promise to make our family a home, and to make our life every bit the fairytale you’ve given me."
to
"I promise to make a home for our family..."
Otherwise it sounds like you literally want to turn your family into a home...if you know what I mean :)
These sound great though and it's nice that you've been able to make them so personal. All the best!
Well, I meant more in the proverbial home - you know, "home is where the heart is" sort of thing? Like, I promise that our family will be a safe haven for you, and a place of love and comfort. But yeah, I can see how it sounds funny now. haha

So we're writing our own vows...and I think I finally got the version I like. What do y'all think? To preface, there's a joke I always tell that I stalked Mr. Foxy during our senior year until he caved and asked me out...
Mr. Foxy, first of all, I know I'm now following the rules by making these vows longer than what we talked about; however, they’re all about you so that should make up for it. I thought about telling the story of how we met, but as most everyone here knows, it was less a meeting and more a me stalking you until you finally gave in so maybe I should stick to something more romantic. All joking aside, I find myself finally standing beside you in a moment I’ve dreamed about countless times, and in awe that reality with you still exceeds all of those fairytales I’ve created in my mind. I have loved you from that first whispered moment six years ago, and I promise to always fight for that love no matter the day or place.
I promise to always be a point of strength for you, and to champion you in all your endeavors.
I promise everyday to try to be the woman you see me as, and the wife you deserve.
I promise to say “I love you” even when I think you’re wrong, and try not to always think I’m right.
I promise to make our family a home, and to make our life every bit the fairytale you’ve given me.
And lastly, I promise to stalk you every day for the rest of my life, but only in a strictly non-creepy way.
I love you, today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives.
