Many of my friends have found their dresses there, and have loved it. That was going to be one of my stops if I couldn't find anything in Boston. Odly enough, I found mine in Orlando while visiting family! Congrats on finding your dress.
I use to live there and they always had great prom dresses, didn't go there for a wedding dress as I know live in PA.
Hahaha I got my prom dress at Needleman's too! it was a gunne sax wedding dress! I actually still have it (too bad it doesn't quite fit). I should sell it on Oncewed as a vintage dress!
I will probably go back to Needleman's for my wedding gown. I live in Jersey now, but my family is still in VT and we will be getting married in VT as well.
We are in northern VT and are getting all of our dresses and tuxes from Needlemans :)

Ok. I am in no way affiliated with Needlemen's Bridal. I bought my dress from them in December, had an amazing experience and I feel the need to pass it on. Needlemen's is in Vermont at three locations. I went to the Newport location the day before New Years Eve with my mom, aunt and best friend.
I had asked them if they had a particular Alfred Angelo, and if so, if they would have it readily availible to try on. When I arrived, I learned that they had actually ORDERED the dress JUST for me to try on that day. They even tried to approximate my size (it was a little big on me, but as a plus size bride, that was kind of refreshing). They had a huge selection of plus size dresses in stock, and because they were not busy that afternoon, I had two sales women there to help me out. I ended up ordering the AA in my size and am so happy about my dress and shopping experience.
I live outside of Boston and the trip to my hometown in Vermont was well worth the shopping experience. I just wanted to share in case there were any brides in search of a VT area dress shop.
