Before we registered, FI insisted we include a crossbow and even chose one that cost $1500. The best part? He’s never hunted or shot a crossbow in his life. He just wanted to sit in a lawn chair in the yard and shoot at a target.

FI and I own an RV.  I’d love to register for RV accessories, but 99% of our guests would be like “Huh, what?” if we did.  Guess we’ll just have to register stuff for our actual house… how boring! Smile

@icetea:  Target has plastic ponies in the toy aisle πŸ™‚

Hmm.. would it be weird to register for board games at Target?  Not like Candy Land– ones that more adult type people would play.  Because that might be off beat, but practical.  Good for parties!

Also FI has commented MULTIPLE TIMES about how we should register for “preper stuff” like emergency food, ammunition, etc. What a crazy person. No more discovery channel and walking dead for you sir.

@Ennie:  We are going to register for board games! It is just a suggestion no one HAS to buy it for you!

@Ennie:  I would love to buy someone board games as a wedding present. We play tons of board games and it would be awesome to share that!

A friend got married & had twizzlers on her registry. When they went to register, hubby had fun playing with the scanner gun. My guy drinks gatorade like crazy, & I’m thinking of putting that on there. I’ve known others that put dog beds or cat scratching posts on there, especially if it’s “their” pet (versus “his” cat or “her” dog). And board games are a common item around here; I’ve bought several for various couples.
