Awww, I’m sorry, I hate styes 🙁 I don’t have any remedies–mine have been painful for a few days and then gone away on their own, but I can definitely sympathize! I hope it feels better soon!!

Ah DH gets these too, he used to get them a lot but hes not had one for a while. I dont know if it relieves the pain but it soaking a cotton wool ball in saltwater helped it go down, keep it clean and stopped it from getting worse. Best recommendation ive got for you Im afraid!

They sell ointment in the drugstore which really helps alleviate the discomfort. You just put a little spot of ointment in your eye.

wash it with baby shampoo and then dab it with raw organic honey 🙂

use a used tea bag – that’s what i always use and it draws out the “puss”

one time when i was out of tea bags, i used a q tip – dipped it in hot water, and held it directly on the stye, i kept repeating for about 10-15 mins and it worked pretty well, drew all the yucky stuff out.

Ugh I HATE styes. I try all the suggestions above and sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t – the tea bags, the baby shampoo, etc. I also have used a boiled egg because it keeps heat better than just a warm towel and put that on my stye.

Ooo I have advice! I had one a month ago and future MIL told me this: wet a rag or paper towel with HOT water and press it to the stye. I mean as hot as you can handle it. I did his several times and the stye literally burst and pussed out. Then it was gone! Hopefully you will have as good of luck as I did. It took maybe 5 times pressing the really hot cloth for it to burst. Good luck!
