nope! i started one. i've sucked at keeping it updated...things have been busy for me lately, but i definitely got it going! i don't think it's crazy. i figured i was going to start one anyway once i was engaged and actively planning but i couldn't wait. lol. my boyfriend even set it up for me!

I'm so bad about keeping my priorities straight. I've been focusing more on my blog than school the last few days, haha.
Reading CorgiTales' Before & After thread, I realized she had a blog started too! Though it seems to be mainly food/everyday life.

It's a cross between a waiting blog and a pseudo-wedding planning blog, with some RL stuff thrown in as well. I'm quite fond of my pun title. :P
I REALLLLLLLY want to start a blog.....but Im not really sure what I would write about. And also i never figured out who would read it? Like how do people find out about a blog? *sigh* maybe im just clueless lol
@honeybear: a lot of us on the board follow each other and i think it kind of goes from there! i write about life love and the pursuit of happiness lol!! mine encompasses every part of my life! and after i am FINALLY engaged it will probably be very wedding heavy with a lot of diy.
@minutiae @honeybear, i do both a regular blog and a planning blog. though both have suffered greatly as of late. i could be reported for blog neglect! but i'm hoping i can get back into things. i used to write practically everyday in my personal blog. i miss that.
honeybear, you'll be surprised how people will find your blog. i checked my stats one day and found out someone had linked to one of my tutorials! crazy! but yeah, definitely start one! you'll find things to write about.
That's the thing about waiting blogs; I'll probably end up DIYing virtually every part of my wedding, but I can't really post tutorials or anything until after the engagement! Alas. :(

Bwah ha ha ha I spy my name! I am indeed starting one today. It'll probably be just life stuff til later, but I'm excited about it because I love doing DIY stuff, I just don't very often! This will give me an excuse to do more! I was all excited about writing a post about the Halloween stuff I was baking, but then it... failed.
Not crazy at all! My roommate from college and I are working to start a blog about our friendship, relationships, and love of weddings, she probably has about one more month or so until she gets engaged and I have probably about a year! Its such a great way to share thoughts and ideas, and get advice! Plus if you start now and want to apply to be a bee, you will have had lots of practice!

The mister gave me a hint this week that he's planned out his proposal, and he seems to be leaning toward a spring proposal...then perhaps I'll graduate from waiting at long last!
I have a blog, but it's just about things in my life. I don't update much, but I might start since y'all have inspired me!

Is anyone else starting a blog before they get engaged? Or am I being totally crazy?
Judging by the things my SO has said, I'm thinking he'll propose during the 'blitz' season later this year...but I also really want to get married in May, preferably this coming May, making my engagement a potential total of 4 - 6 months. And I reaaaaally want to apply for Beedom. So I'm starting my blog early, haha. Has anyone done this, or is anyone thinking about doing this?
