My SO and I are going on a trip to a fancy landmark next weekend and I really think he's going to propose then! My future-MOH is trying to throw me off the trail saying she thinks it won't come til May when I graduate from my MA program, but she also told me to go ahead and put down a deposit on my venue to get married this August. (I'm not putting it down until I'm engaged, but there's no way SO would make me wait til May for an August wedding.)
I hope we're both right!!

Ah! What clues! So fantastic! Very excited for you! I think it's especially cute, too, that's he's so aware of the warranty requirements! I have a timeline of sometime before early October... but we're LDR and I'm pretty certain he hasn't paid off the whole bill for the ring... so it probably won't happen until August at the earliest :( But I know, patience is key! Sigh!!!
Ooooh, sounds exciting!! Enjoy Niagara Falls, you'll love it!! I live in Ontario so I'm about an hour away from the falls, even in the winter it's breaktaking!! Good proposal spot ;)

Hi! This is my first real post though I've been lurking for a few months ;)
Boyfriend and I have been together for about 4 1/2 years... I'm 25 and he is 29. We started talking about marriage about a month after being together! (Ha, I guess if you know, you know right?) Over the summer SO told me he was looking for rings... then around August/September he told me he actually bought one(!). I've been pestering him for a time frame of when he might propose, but he's been super secretive only saying he wants it to be a surprise. WELL... the other night we were watching an episode of the Office and someone's proposal was mentioned and SO says "Do you want your ring?" My response being OF COURSE! Then he says for the warranty on the ring to be valid he has to have it inspected every 6 months... so he'll need to get it inspected by February. I asked if this meant he was going to the jeweler himself and his response was "You'll have it by then". What!! We are going on a vacation to New York next week (the 26th-31st) and I think he's planning on proposing then! We ARE going to see Niagara Falls (I know, in the winter we must sound crazy, but we've never been and who knows when we'll be in that area again!)... I'm not sure what his plans are but my gut says it'll be on this vacation... I HOPE SO! :)
