I know mine is taking about 6 months. I ordered in January too and she said it’s due at the end of June when I called for updates last week.

You don’t state what style the dress is so I can’t help with the hoop skirt. I’m assuming it’s a ballgown. Yes, with your wedding in Aug and it not coming in until July, I would have all the accessories ready to try on with the dress when it comes in. Go to the shop and try on the sample and ask them which they recommend for size and then you can shop around price wise.

Okay, well you’re going to hate me then: I placed my order on March 13th. They told me it was going to take four to six months and I should expect it by mid-July at the earliest. Well, they called me April 2nd to say my dress had arrived. Needless to say I was skeptical, but have decided not to go see it until I lose at least ten pounds. I was actually a little offended it came in so soon haha…

amf9201:  I ordered my dress on the 8th of December and it is arriving on the 20th of June, so just over 6 months! If I were you I would go to the bridal shop and try on their floor stock dress and ask their opinion on getting a hoop to suit the dress. So far I have bought all of my accessories to go with my dress, because my wedding is on the 30th of August and I already know my dress needs two alterations! It’s so stressful waiting 6 months for it to arrive, I think it’s worth it to get most of your accessories organised if you can.

amf9201:  I ordered my Maggie at the end of January and picked her up at the beginning of this month!! So I’d have to agree with thehappiestbridetobe:  on 3 months.

I ordered my Maggie on February 22, which they told me to expect in mid June, early July (with an August wedding date, yikes!).  They called last week to tell me it’s here!  So, under 2 months?  Pretty awesome, but like @MrsMeowton, I am not as thrilled as I should be, haha.  I was supposed to have at least 2 more months to get my booty in shape!  I’m really excited to see my dress again, but also too scared to go try it on!

amf9201:  I’m actually the opposite of tempted. I have not lost a single pound since I last tried on my dress, so I am not even a little curious to see what it looks like. I will go see the dress maybe this winter. I am just pushing it from the back of my mind.
