So of all our wedding plans the one thing we pretty much have barely even thought of is the honeymoon. just been so caught up in planning everything else and even trying to afford everything much less trying to shell out all the extra money for a honeymoon. so my thoughts were to wait a while and save up. we’ve thrown out a couple ideas of places to go. we talked about flordia like a disney honeymoon. i’ve looked in a carribean cruise. the latest idea was to go to california to san diego to see sea world and my FI wants to see the san diego zoo cause he loves pandas. can anyone recommend a cheap honeymoon or someone who has been to one of these places that know how much these trips would cost ish? thanks!

I think CA/San Diego would be a relatively inexpensive trip compared to Disney (Disney can be expensive depending on what you want to do there, everything costs money). You need to look at a couple hundred collars for your plane ticket (depending on when you buy your tickets–maybe try to go to Orbitz or something like that for cheaper tickets).
Hotels, depending on how ritzy you want it to be since it is your honeymoon, I would look at 150-200 per night. They should have information about prices at Sea World for you. Also, if you can get a hotel close to Sea World, maybe the hotel has free transportation? If not, you will have to factor in a taxi…and meals and gifts.
I went on a Carribean cruise for my honeymoon. We did 4 days I believe, and for just the ship was $1800, plane tickets were $1200 and room the night before and the day after was about $150 in Ft. Lauderdale. They had free shuttle to the port. Everything on the ship is expensive too, mainly alcohol so you need to bring a lot of cash or get a drink card for soda/pop and alcohol if you drink a lot of both.

We’ve talked it over a few times and we seem to be shooting for San Diego. Seems cheapest. Since its our honeymoon I’d like to stay in a suite in a semi nice hotel. doesnt have to be super nice. then to go to sea world and the zoo. we’ll see but for now thats the plan
