@love108: The night is still young; I bet everyone's just getting off of work and going off to their romantic evenings... I'm so happy for all the stories bound to flood in.
I get excited to find out about engagements on here...but gosh, if it's someone I know and it's on Facebook.. I don't know... just hard to be happy unless it's my best friend. Even though I know it's not happening for me for a while...
Well it is 23:28 here, so I can safely say it's not happening tonight! I hope to wake up tomorrow to lots of lovely stories!
Fingers crossed for everyone tonight! I know its not happening for me, but I came home to a really sweet card from my SO so I'm happy. :)
@love108: I understand. WHen I was waiting, it was a little stab anytime it was someone other than me. But keep your chin up-- it seems like you have a good hold of what your timeline is. Just try to enjoy it the best you can, and have faith that your SO will follow through.
@JulesSchnooks: I do, thanks! :) It helps that we're long distance (ok, being apart on any day sucks) but then I know it can't just happen any of these days... so it's not on my mind 24/7.
Um... Not me. I got stuck at work even thought my boyfriend got off super early. My roommate has no plans, so she'll probably join us for dinner (uninvited, but she'll pull up a chair and flirt with my boyfriend). Oh well. Vacation tomorrow.
I kind of want to see who on here gets engaged but I'm NOT looking forward to my Facebook updates tomorrow. Damn Facebook.

I'm surprised there aren't any as well. I bet that some guys are waiting for the weekend. Good luck ladies! We aren't celebrating until Saturday but I'm hoping for some flowers tonight. :)
None for me. It was wishful thinking anyway. But I wanna see some so I can at least move up a few slots!!
I was thinking the same thing. My V-day has been crappy, so a good proposal story might cheer me up.
While I don't have a proposal story myself, I was standing behind a guy at the grocery store and he was telling the people in front of him that he planned on proposing tonight to his girlfriend. He had it all planned out and was kind of nervous and excited.
I could help but think, gee, he's planning on proposing and all I have planned for tonight is stuffing my face with pizza. So totally on opposite ends of the spectrum.
@tea: Unless he does the pizza hut proposal... Then you'll both be eating pizza :P
Lol we made homemade heart sharped pizza from scratch (crust and all) for our valentines dinner tonight.
But there was very much no proposal :(
@asscherlover: no pizza but there was mention of a drive-in theater. But I do have red vines so maybe they had that during the movie. lol
