Weddingbee boards

This is my very first post to ever post on this site. I don't know how many hours I've spent reading everyone's stories so I thought I'd post my own. First of all, I will tell you a little about myself and my boyfriend. We have been together for almost four years! They have been the best four years of my life. We have known each other since we were 12 years old and became best friends in high school. We always had orchestra and lunch together.

Back in March he told me that we would be engaged by the end of this year. So, that really took a load off of wishing that it would happen for awhile. I was thinking that he was going to pop the question when we went on vacation to Disney World last week because I am a HUGE Disney fan and that was my dream proposal as cheesy as it sounds. Well, it didn't happen. I'm completely okay with that because I know however it happens will be perfect because it will be the start of the rest of my life. Something really special about that day will be when he says "I'm in love with you." Now, you might be wondering, "You've been together 4 years and he hasn't said that yet?!" But, we believe that "I love you" and "I'm in love with you" have COMPLETELY different meanings. He told me that he will not say that until he is down on one knee asking me to marry him. I love that that will make the proposal 10X more special than I ever could have dreamed of.

Now, if you remember, I said he'd said we would be engaged by the end of the year and low and behold it is December 24th, well actually, it's December 25th! Merry Christmas! Anyway, it's Christmas, meaning there's only 6 days left before the end of the year. He likes to pick on me and say "2014" just to annoy me because he thinks it's cute when I'm angry. What a crazy person, right?! So, I'm trying to patiently wait. I'm just anxious! There really is no special day between now and the last six days of the year. I know the proposal doesn't have to happen on a special day, but you know what I mean.

Anyway, I just thought I'd give you what's going on with me for my first post. Just share a little bit about me and my... situation, i guess I can call it?

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping it's coming soon as well. I mean 6 days! Come on!!! Haha! I want to be on the planning boards as well. I have so many good ideas! I want the excuse to actually be serious about them!

Update!::

We were talking tonight trying to find a place to eat open on Christmas and he asked what the weather was going to be like tomorrow. I looked it up and said, "It looks like a high of 28 with little wind, so not bad. Why?" His response, "Well... I was thinking we could maybe... go on a walk or something tomorrow." Of course, suspiciously, I said sure! I think it might happen tomorrow!!! That would be amazing!

Alright, Miss Sydney... You were right! He was doing that just to throw me off because he likes messing with me... What a stinker!
