Your optimism inspires me to stop pouting even if just a little. Laughing

Being in school definitely helps.  It’s like there’s a part of me that is just so eager for it to happen, but another part that says “do you really want to work, study, AND plan a wedding?”  If he waits until next year, I’ll nearly be finished with school, and have plenty of time to plan a wedding.  There’s a secret part of me that’s relieved every time a semester goes by with no proposal, as I’m that much closer to finishing, and school is stressful enough right now.  🙂

@MissStruggles:  Yes, I agree!  I just started the first year of my doctorate and I’m busy most of the time, and when I’m not reading a stack of articles I’m going out with people in the department.  Although I miss having some more down time to be lazy watching tv, I find that I’m so busy with work and going out that I don’t have time to dwell.

I’m glad to hear it’s making things easier for you, too!

@MissStruggles:  Read the pinned post by Mr.Bee…he suggests doing things for YOURSELF like hobbies, spending time with friends…whatever makes me happy. It reminds your SO that you are interesting and comfortable with yourself outside of the relationship. Happy people attract happy things, I always believe. Smile

@MissRuthie:  I like that (happy people attract happy things). I went through some things last year and it resulted in me feeling happy most of the time (No I did not join a cult… lol). From since I started having a positive outlook on life, a lot of positive things started to happen. I even won a fb contest on Friday!! Yay!

@MissStruggles:  I’m a teacher, so I’m back to school too. I only feel impatient waiting when I’m on this board but i’m an addict!

@MissStruggles:  YES! A million times yes! I just started my last year of school and these past two weeks I’ve been nonstop, between going to university, an elementary school for my student teaching, and work I’ve barely had time to think about it.  I hadn’t even had time to get on here.  I just found some time to do since I remembered about the waiting list clean up :p

@tiff-tiff-tiff:  I just started my last year before I graduate which is student teaching.  What grade do you teach? First two weeks in a classroom has opened up my eyes to sooooooo much! I definitely look forward to having my own classroom next year 😀

and did I mention I haven’t even had time to think about the waiting?! win-win situation! :p

@cherriesandcream:  I teach Spanish and computer to K – Grade 6. Occupying your time really does work.

The days really are flying by which helps when you have that random thought about how long you’ve been together and that you are hurtling towards the next milestone.  But waiting aside, whoa, this year is going FAST!

@tiff-tiff-tiff:  um I know it’s kinda late but oh-my-goodness, this semester has me beaten down! I barely have time for anything! Sounds like you must have a lot of fun working with all the grade levels 🙂 I just started my second rotation which is a class in Spanish, and I am in love! the dynamics are so different and hearing the kids talk in spanish melts me haha

@cherriesandcream:  Yes yes yes!!! I love when the other teachers as well as the parents tell me the little kindergarteners are speaking Spanish to them. The first set I started teaching last year are putting their own sentences together and it made my day!

It is definitely different from teaching Math etc.
