Jsanabria:  It’s coming! But try your hardest to be patient… some ladies who know this much about the ring wait anywhere from a week, to several weeks, to even several months!  It’s unfortunate because waiting is the WORST.

I’ve been waiting since March when I got my ring sized, but my design demands are pretty detailed, so my SO had to get it custom-made.  He’s only finally getting my set in the mail (one ring 2 weeks ago, still waiting for the other).

This site helps so much! Vent on here! There are so many Waiting Bees in the same position, so we understand. We’re here for you!

Sorry about the formatting issue… I was using the mobile site and it screwed it all up.

Jsanabria:  That is so wonderful!  It’s good that you have dates further out that you can wait for.  Congratulations on your future engagement 🙂

Eeek! Waiting is the hardest part! I found the receipt for my engagement ring (woops!). It was torture knowing he had bought it and every time we went anywhere I was ready lol I found the receipt in may And he didn’t propose until July! my advice would be to try not to over think it and just enjoy being together!

congrats you’re almost there!

Eeeek how exciting! I suggest trying to remain calm and just enjoy the fact that it’ll eventually happen and it’s something he’s serious about. It’s great that he involved you as far as getting to know what style design you like, but then also just taking it into his own hands to get the ball rolling. It’s romantic to me (I’ve been with my guy for 7 years and there’s no such thing as the element of surprise…we talk about the design process, budget, financing, etc almost everyday lately). The less you obsess, the more you’ll be able to just enjoy those events in the upcoming months without feeling tortured, disappointed at certain small opportunities, etc.
