emsy3110:  Roll call (no changes to the list for me!)

Age: 29

When will you TTC?: August 2014

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Just got off BC, finishing regular vitamins and just ordered prenatals, need to get into better shape

Do you chart? Link to the chart: Nope, no plans to ATM (I have sleep issues and this would be one more thing to stress me out over that)

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?: If I were filthy rich, as many as I healthily could (so I say now); realistically, start with 1 and see how it goes 🙂

My TTC date was based on vacation plans that may be changing, so it could move.  Also, there is a slight chance that I will be an early graduate-time is moving so slowly right now, I should know in a week.  This unplanned TWW is so hard and I so hope for a positive result!

I can’t believe how fast we went through the last thread

emsy3110:  No changes for me…looks like I am the furthest one out at this point! Though DH and I talked a few days ago about maybe bumping it up to 2017, not sure yet though.

Age: 25 (almost 26!); DH is 27

When will you TTC?: Planning for March 2018

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Nothing really, but staying in shape

Do you chart? Link to the chart: No

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?:  DHwants 1; I think I want 2–we will see how it goes after we have the first child

Age: 26 for both DH and I.

When will you TTC?: December 2014

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Started prenatals 5 months ago, just finished my last pack of BCP, and also started charting for the first time with FF. I’m going to try to get into good shape this spring/summer/fall and keep it up through next winter. I want to lose about 5 lbs. and build some muscle!

Do you chart? Link to the chart: Yes! Just started and am on CD1. So excited about it! : ) http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsfairybee

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?: We would like 2 children. And then we’ll see how things are going and if we want to add a third after that we will. : )

When will you TTC?: January 2015

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Started Folic Acid about 2 weeks ago. Also have been trying really hard to keep my blood sugar levels well controlled (type 1 diabetic).

Do you chart? Link to the chart: http://tcoyf.com/members/Janelle123/charts/31.aspx

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?: We would like 2 children but would try for a third if we had 2 boys or 2 girls

ROLL CALL!!

Age: 26

When will you TTC?: Ideally July 2015, around the time of our 3rd anniversary

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: getting back in shape, occassionally taking prenatals, eating healthier

Do you chart? Link to the chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ruby26

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?: DH and I have agreed on 2, but I’m worried I’ll have a single, and then my 2nd pregnancy will be twins (twins run in my family). I guess it wouldn’t be the worst thing.

fallingleaves:  Where are you going on vacation?

emsy3110:  I’m the opposite… I would love all boys! I fear that I’ll only have girls!

MrsFairyBee:  Yay for your first cycle charting! Friended you!

bmo88:  What’s on your before-baby list? I’m working on completing my own 🙂

When will you TTC?: July 2014 (SO EXCITED!!!!)

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: I stopped birth control last month and I’m taking a prenatal vitamin that my OBGYN prescribed me. I’ve been researching different supplements and herbs that are helpful and I’m considering taking an additional vitamin C and vitamin B6 supplement. I’m also planning to lose 20-30 lbs and eat a fertility friendly diet.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: I just started last week! I’ve been using ovaova.com. Anyone use this before?

And for fun, how many kids would you ideally like to have?: I used to want 6 kids, but then I became a teacher. Now that I work with preschoolers every day, I think I’d more realistically like 2 or 3. My husband was an only child and only wants one. We will see!

I’ve been taking a medicine called Fluvoxamine (Luvox) for the past four years and it’s helped me to manage my anxiety. I just started slowly weaning off. </div>

ruby26:  At this point it is:

  • Build a home (check–it will be finished in July)
  • Travel to Europe (hoping for March 2015)
  • East Coast Trip–New York, Boston, Philadelphia & D.C. (hoping for 2016)
  • Pay off student loans and car (should be done in 2017)
  • Save, save, save money

We would consider moving our timeline up to 2017 if, our loans are paid off a little earlier and if my parents move back to our city (they are out of state now). My mother is a pre-school teacher and is considering moving here and would open a home daycare. If she did that, it would be a great opportunity to have help with childcare and have my parents around more often.

What’s on your list?

ruby26:  Funny that July is a perfect time to conceive for you. DH is a teacher and I am a school administrator at the same middle/high school. I do marketing and recruit students, so our peak time is June, July and August. Basically, my “off season” is the opposite, it’s in November, December and January. So the ideal time for me to TTC would be February or March.

bmo88:  That’s a great list!! Mine is pretty similar actually (Europe trip, NY trip, car & student loans, saving). Congrats on building your home! That’s always been a dream of mine (still is, but land around here is so expensive I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to afford it- about half a million just for the land!). My parents built the house I grew up in and it’s so special! July-August is perfect for me because that would mean I give birth in April and have my 6 weeks maternity leave leading right into summer break. Starting in July also gives us a chance to not succeed right away and still be able to enjoy some time with baby over the summer. Plus then I don’t have to be huge when it’s hot out! DH is a teacher too, so having us both home early on would be ideal. Childcare is something I’m concerned about too– it would be amazing to have your parents close to help with that and see your baby grow up!
