Move me to August 2014!! We decided on the honeymoon this would be my last pack of BC pills! Just ordered some OPKs and going to start charting at the end of the month! We’re only trying August and September though because of my master’s program, so I’m really hoping we get lucky early! I need to start reading up on charting and my annual is in August so I can’t decide if I should make a pre-TTC appt (they encourage it) or just wait until to August.

Age/DH’s age: 21/23

When will you TTC?: August ’14! Moved up a year!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?:  Going to chart end of month and take prenatals

Do you chart? Link to the chart:  Will this month!

What are you most appreciating now about NOT being pregnant? Just that we got to have an amazing honeymoon, drinking and exploring Mexico!

Age/DH’s age: 28 and 38 (him), but our birthdays are both this summer.

When will you TTC?:  Ehhhh…. sometime next year?

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?:  Cut back on exercise and gained a few pounds, going off the pill soon-ish and will start prenatals.

Do you chart? Link to the chart:  Nope, still on the pill!

What are you most appreciating now about NOT being pregnant?   Sleep!

So, my family always does a trip every summer- we just went to Mexico a few weeks ago- and for next year they are planning a big trip to the Galapagos islands. Of course this sounds amazing, but we can’t go until mid-August and it’s 8 days on a boat and nonrefundable. I have no idea where we will be in 15 months, but that kind of sounds horrible if you’re pregnant!! I don’t want to make a big deal about it, but I also don’t want to screw over the family trip if we happen to be pregnant before then (quite doubtful that we would actually have a baby already). Not really sure what to do….

My last roll call! (ahhhh!)

Age/DH’s age: Both 28

When will you TTC?:  July!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?:  I’ve been charting, eating healthy, taking prenatals, started taking vitex and drinking red raspberry leaf tea to improve uterine health and get my body as ready as possible for pregnancy – was working out 5 days a week but then I broke my toe 🙁

What are you most appreciating now about NOT being pregnant? <br />I’m trying to enjoy the things I won’t be able to have, so this week I got a nice bottle of white wine and blue cheese stuffed olives to snack on 🙂

RunnerBride13:  Wow, that sounds like a fantastic trip!  Honestly, I’d just let the plans go forward for now – you can evaluate closer to the trip how you’re feeling and whether or not you can go.  Even if you are pregnant, as long as it’s not too close to your due date you might feel fine and really enjoy it!  I’m in a similar boat right now with planning family trips, and I’m just trying to be somewhat non-committal about plans until I know where we’ll be in a year.  My SIL is trying to plan a couples trip to New Orleans for her 40th birthday, which would be so fun! But if we get pregnant right away, I’ll be 7 or 8 months along when she wants to go.  Same with our family vacation next summer, we might have a 3 month old, but if it takes a few months, it could be right around my due date.  Unfortunately we can’t know how long all this TTC stuff will take!

FreckledFox:  Oh my gosh, yes, the heat!  One big reason I hope to get pregnant right away – I might have to deal with first trimester during the summer, but I’d feel gross anyways, right?  It was almost 100 and humid here yesterday.  I can’t imagine being big and pregnant in this weather.

SadieBee:  I know, and if it were a non-boat trip or a refundable trip, I wouldn’t even think twice about it! I have been out of town for a week, so I still need to talk to the hubby about it. I wouldn’t worry about domestric trips though, maybe book on Southwest if you can so they’re refundable.

I love the roll call. It’s a great reminder for me where everyone is at 🙂

Age/DH’s age: 27/30

When will you TTC?: July 2015

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: taking my prenatals when I remember, paying off loans (will be done in 2 months!),

Do you chart? Link to the chart: I chart to try to understand my long cycles better… http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ruby26

What are you most appreciating now about NOT being pregnant? Everything! Drinking, having people over for bonfires, sleeping, working out hard, feeling pretty good in a swimsuit, planning upcoming vacations, etc. etc. DH has a bit of baby fever but I’m just not there yet. He wanted to move our timeline up to this summer, but I convinced him we agreed we should wait. Despite me not being ready, I’m still pinteresting baby things to my secret board like a champ!
