Aww!! Haha I know. All the big stuff is done it's just all these pesky little things but I have an amazing MOH who loves helping me with my wedding stuff (THANK GOD!) and she's helped me lots with this little stuff as much as she can. My fiancee is also being a SAINT... he even went to the grocery last night for me and cooked us some frozen pizzas for dinner (big deal for him <3) hehe.I had my first (and hopefully only) meltdown sunday night due to a mix up with the guestlist.. (FMIL who has been awesome this whole time decided to spring 20 extra guests on me when I've already have 91% of people RSVP'd as YES) So it's a big relief that they've been so awesome the last couple of days.

I have designed our programs but not the text that goes on them, then we have to print and make them, we have to figure out a speaker situation at the venue, finish our song list, finish escort cards, fix a DIY that isn't working with me, make some favors for the rehearsal dinner, make some tags for the favors, table numbers, and table signs, get all my wedding junk over to the DOC and that's about it! (easier said than done, though!)

    :) :)

How are you ladies coming along?

This post reminds me of when I was doing the long distance thing and had a visit coming up.  I would always call him and tell him I bought milk or juice that would still be fresh at the time of the visit.

Wow.  I just read all you still have to do!  Are you working full time?  I finished everything last week.  Now all I can do is sit here at work completely useless and distracted.

Yep, Jocelyn, I am working full time as well as freelancing. (I'm a graphic designer)... but for what it's worth, when I'm working I too am useless and distracted. :)

Tonight was productive though, I confirmed some details with the venue and gave them the final headcount, we beefed up our skinny song list for our friend who will be DJing (he's semi pro) and we put finishing touches on our vases, bm's gifts, parents gifts, g-parents gifts, kid table buckets, we finished making the chair ties, we got the last of the candles we needed, tested the candle's lasting ability, finished the escort cards, decorated the toasting flutes, put some finishing touches on the flowergirl basket, and got and a table cloth for our tiny unity candle table.

Tomorrow I have a website to work on so that will take up a good bit of my time, but I'm also going to get my hair highlighted, pick up my dress, drop off my shrug that needs to be taken in, and my rehearsal dinner pants that need to be hemmed (I'm short!), finish up the paper stuff (signs, tags, programs) and get prints of some engagment photos for the parents and grandparents. Friday I will probably put the ribbons on all of the programs and corner round them... and give the fiancee some kisses.

Saturday I bring all my wedding stuffies to the DOC and give her instructions on what to do with it all. Then I go to pick up a birthday cake for my sister and party the night away for my BACHELORETTE PARTY!! My BMs have been working their butts off on it so I know it will be great and a much needed escape from the wedding stuff.

Sunday bridesmaid brunch and Sunday afternoon I can pick at whatever details I have left and then try to just be stress free in the days up to the wedding.

Hopefully all I'll have to do next week is get my nails done, pick up my rehearsal dinner pants & shrug, and get hitched!! What about you ladies?

    Nice wake up call photo!

We're leaving England on Saturday morning, which means we leave our apartment tomorrow night after work!

I still have to pick up my dress today and make sure it's ok (looooong story), finish up my escort cards and table plan, confirm music list with our string trio and band, and pick up a couple of last-minute things.  And, of course, pack for the two week trip to the US!

Once I get "home," I have to check out all the things I've ordered, like linens, runners, programs, menus, vases, etc. and see if they're OK-- if not, time for some emergency searches around town!  Also have to buy things like candles that can just be gotten in a bulk shopping trip to Ikea.

My flowers from fiftyflowers.com are arriving on Wednesday, so we'll have to strip them and hydrate them on Wednesday, then arrange them on Thursday and Friday.  Have to finalize everything with the florist for the other flowers (I'm only doing the centerpieces.)

Parties on Thursday and Friday nights, then the wedding on Saturday!

    Good luck everyone!

I can't sleep.  When I do I wake up all giddy.  And I am a waste of space at work.

I still have this bottle on the window ledge in my room... I can't make myself throw it away. It's there while I'm sleeping and keeps me up. Then I wake up and it's right there all chipper and excited reminding me I'm marrying my best friend in EIGHT DAYS and it's all I can do to get into the car for work.

I've missed some silly things at work because I've got total wedding brain and I'm so so so useless. My boss can't even remember when i'm leaving for my wedding so I could probably just not show up next week and he'd never think anything of it... I'm sure he'd start to suspect something when it's been 2 1/2 weeks and I'm just then getting back though...
