So I need some help…
I’ve been thinking of non-traditional songs to walk down the aisle to, I’m not one to go with traditional, and find that choosing a song makes it just a little more special. I was wanting to play “Sunshine” by Steve Azar as I’m walking down the aisle with my dad, but my mom doesn’t find that song “appropriate” enough, nor relating to my relationship with my dad. I LOVE the song, i love the beat of the song, and can picture myself walking down the aisle to that song… it gave one of my bridesmaids chills when I had her picture it! But when I ran it by my mom the other day and had her listen, she wasn’t such a fan.
I want to play the song, but I want something that my family finds special as well. My dad can be very traditional and as his only daughter, I want to make the day just as special to him as it is for me.
Can you bees think of any other songs that would good to walk down the aisle to, that could relate to both a father/daughter relationship, yet still be special to play for me and my fiance as I meet him at the alter?
Or what are you walking down the aisle to?
P.S… I’ve already decided the recessional will be “All you need is love” by The Beatles! 🙂
