Hey Bees.. what songs are you using that's different than Luther Vandeross to walk down the aisle on? Are there any other songs out there.. church songs?
I looking for something that slow but has alot of meaning. my aisle is short, so i need it to be powerful!

My song is a piano version of Canon in D by Pachelbel, somewhat like this one

It's a long song but we're going to have to cut it short. I just love how pretty it sounds

"She's You Queen to Be!" Yes, I did! I had an instrumental (sax-only) version of the song when I came down the aisle. It was so funny when I was watching the video afterwards, and I hear my one friend go "YESSS!" once he realizes what the song was. It was pretty hilarious & very "us" so I loved it. Still kept it classy by using the instrumental version, so anyone who didn't actually know what it was, just thought it was a pretty-sounding song, and it was still definitely recognizable to everyone who actually knew what it was.
I walked down the aisle to Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve. It was great!
We also seriously considered "I'm Yours" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
OMG attention all brides you have got to listen to thing song by Karina Pasian "First Love" this is the song that I am walking down on it is the perfect song!
@eileenquiry i love the song, though some people think the beat is too fast. i do feel that we will have to walk slower-like every other beat-but oh well that gives people more time to see my beautiful dress! :)
My bridal party including myself will come in on Make Me Whole by Amel Larrieux.
I walked in to Somewhere over the Rainbow by Iz. It was amazing and my husband cried like a baby.

@jjsangel: I do too!! I haven't been able to listen to it all the way through without crying yet! I can just imagine what a mess I'm going to be coming down the aisle.

I decided to walk down the aisle to You for me by Johnny Gill. I will still use the other songs mentioned above during the wedding.
That song at the end of the very first star wars movie (the ones in the 70s) where Leia is giving the medals to Luke and Han. :-P
I'm thinking of coming down the aisle to Be Be and Ce Ce Winans "I Found Love".

My FI actually picked it, and I wasn't too sure since it didn't seem fit for walking down the aisle BUT after hearing it played by a quartet I knew that was it! We're having a string quartet play at our ceremony!
