I think it’s pretty, but the reality of wallpaper… no thank you. I like the stenciling with paint just fine though.

I’m loving wallpaper lately.  I think it’s come such a long way from the 80s or country wallpaper our parents had.

I love all the modern designs and the very neat large scale prints.  I think it’s best kept to one or two walls of a room though.

@Meowkers:  Agreed. I love it on one wall as a focal point. I’ve been seeing it used a lot on HGTV. Love it.

Some of it looks neat, but wallpaper is a bitch.  I don’t want to wish taking it down or putting it up upon anyone.

I love this wallpaper trend!! I have a small room that leads off from our main living room, it is like a cozy setaing area with our fireplace, the perfect space for wallpaper.

No thank you.  I’ve had to take wallpaper down and it’s terrible.  Haha.  That’s the only reason I wouldn’t do it.

I love it as an accent, but then again, I’ve never applied or removed wallpaper 🙂

Some of it looks really nice but wallpaper is a bitch so I don’t know that I would ever actually use it.

But that stencil you posted is AWESOME looking.  I want to do that!

I like the solid colored paper with a texture. Darling Husband and I were considering it for a large wall along a stair case in our house but then remembered how awful it is to remove…

I really am loving the new patterns/options out there, though.

I really like the idea of it NOW.  But I know that 5 or 10 years down the line it’s going to look dated – no matter how gorgeous it is now.  And then to think about how much of a pain in the ass it’s going to be remove?

    Meh, I don’t think it’s worth it.

No no, for the love of puppies, no. Wallpaper is SUCH a pain to put up and take down, most of it is ugly, and no one wants to buy a house covered in wallpaper.

Now, I do like those prints, but I would never wish wallpaper on anyone.

I love wall designs and have striped walls in one room and stenciled one of my ceilings with a graphic design (hopefully this picture isn’t huge!), but I would never use wallpaper.  It peels off after a while, you can see the seams, and it is a pain in the rear to take down.  You have to sand the walls to take it down and it leaves dust everywhere.  When you can get the same effect with paint, I just don’t see the point in doing it with paper.
