My wedding is on Saturday, Saturday as in 4 days.

So my sister gets the mail this afternoon, and an RSVP card falls out. It's a decline, but 3 people were invited, could you imagine, I mean really how rude, she is known for stuff like this, it just blows my mind, why bother RSVPing at all

Haha, that is kinda funny, what a procrastinator, really why even bother!  But, sorry that happened to you, better a DECLINE than an accept (being that its this late)!!

Sometimes you just have to roll your eyes and shrug it off - seriously, though, why even bother this late in the game?

I got my last RSVP back a few days before our wedding. It was one of our friends (actually it was the guy that introduced me and my now-hubby!) RSVP'ing that he would attend.

Then, when it came down to it, he didn't show. HA!

Yup! People are strange as jennifer_espos said it! It was funny to see that people recently married that we invited were one of the first ones to respond back to us. You don't really know all the stresses of being a bride-to-be until you are one!

Someone RSVP'd yes two days before. They didn't respond to multiple follow ups so we figured they weren't coming. We already had the seating chart and placecards done.

Our 2 ushers are the only guests that have NOT send back their RSVPs yet.  Go figure!

I didn't think people would have the balls to do that. lol

It still is beyond me how difficult it is to mail back an RSVP. Or if you're too lazy for that, just call for goodness sake. lol

I have a lot of people changing last minute, but I am glad they are calling me to cancel so we don't pay for a meal that will go wasted.

I used to work with middle school students at my church and so I invited some of them.  They responded yes, but then it turns out that homecoming is the same night as my wedding.  So even though they responeded yes, I decided to<span style="text-decoration: line-through;"> call them text them (this is HS world) to see if they were coming - NOPE they are going to homecoming...glad I am not paying for their meal!

I got a blank one the day before our wedding.  Then I got a 'no' THREE WEEKS AFTER.  Seriously.
