I have battled the urge to DIY various favors from homemade jams to homemade soy candles, but they just seemed like way too much work, money, and time. Then I came across an adorable graphic with a girly marshmallow and a handsome bar of chocolate with a caption that said “when fate pushed them together, they couldn’t help but want s’more”. Now I have my heart set on s’more favors, even though I am unsure which form they will take. Deconstructed s’mores in a bag? S’more pops? S’more brownies? S’more cups? Whatever it would be would be wrapped up in a cellophane bag with a ribbon. We are having an evening, indoor, winter wedding. The reception is in an urban “loft” — brick walls, wooden floors, a space that’s a former 1910 department store.
Given the setting, do you think s’more-related favors would be acceptable? I feel that deconstructed s’mores would be odd since there is no firepit to roast them, so I was going for something else. Of course, which ever I choose would be room-temp at best, which I am unsure is s’more-enough. Thoughts?
