Oh please don’t regret your choice, it’s a gorgeous ring! I love a simple solitaire. I scaled back on my ring when I had to get it reset and while it’s got pave on the shoulders, it’s a solitaire on a 2mm band.

You can definitely jazz up the look, but I’m telling you – your ring is absolutely decadent.

Isabelle663:  i always thought i wanted a super detailed and intricate ring…and then my (now husband) put a 1 ct solitaire with a plain white gold band on my finger, and everything changed. i LOVE my solitaire! i got a fun band to give it a little interest. yours is gorgeous! don’t regret it. you can always change bands, have it reset or have stones added later. you’ve got a blank and GORGEOUS canvas on your finger 🙂

Your solitaire is gorgeous! I agree with PPs who said that there are sooo many ways you can play up a solitaire!

Here is my set!

I have a 1.05 ct solitaire on a plain white gold band. I got a baguette wrap at an estate sale not too long after I got engaged, and then a baguette wedding band. I think it really changes the look of the plain solitaire. Sometimes I wear just the solitaire and the band, sometimes just the solitaire and the wrap. But most of the time I wear all 3. I’m hoping to get different wraps over the coming years to have other look options as well.

I have a simple solitaire, and to ‘bling it up’ I got two small diamond bands to go on each side 🙂

Isabelle663:  your ring is beautiful! I had a replica of my wedding band made with sapphires for our anniversary last year-hubby’s birth stone and we got married in September-i feel like it adds a little something extra

This is my .7 solitaire with a wrap/enhancer. We decided to use both as my ering, but it could have just as easily been used as my wedding band. Your ring is stunning!

MadameHibou:  I love the two blingy bands on either side, I’m hoping to do that too with an anniversary band.

On a side note, what polish is on your nails?? I looooove me a holo!!

Your ring is gorgeous and will stand the test of time as it’s a classic! It also has the benefit of simplicity, which adds more of a canvas for “dessng it up”. So many choices depending on your taste including a sparkly band, a gemstone band, an infinity band, a band with another metal/bling, or a stack. Let us know when you decide (and post pics).

Keep the pics coming! We almost have the same ring.. I absolutely LOVE my solitaire and am looking for something fun and blingy to compliment it.

Heres my ring. .75 carat size 5.25.

and this is the band that I really like

I also love stacks so im thinking that band with another very thin diamond band with it. 🙂
