This guy is really cool and he will work with you on your ceremony! Shoot him an email, he's super nice. -L
We used Marty Younkin. He was a big hit and you get to pick and chose your ceremony so its all done your way. You can check him out at www.lovenotesweddings.com .
Marty and Ken from Love Notes are frequently recommended on The DFW Knottie boards. I saw Marty at a "faux wedding" last week and he kept the crowd lightened up the whole time. I would recommend him.
I tried to get Marty for my wedding but he was booked (over a year and a half in advance!). Marty recommended another one of his guys, Randy Dicken, who had a very similar style to him. He was awesome! Our guests loved the ceremony...just about everyone said it was unique, touching and very 'us.' Randy made sure to customize the ceremony to truly make it ours. He also speaks Spanish :). You can find him through Love Notes, the company that Marty owns (http://www.lovenotesweddings.com/aboutus.htm).

Ah, my DFW sisters! First time posting on the local board so nice to meet ya'll!
C and I are looking for a great officiant to do our wedding ceremony in March. We really want to do something kinda traditional but still have a quick ceremony with custom vows, readings and music. Especially since I'm rocking out to Queen down the aisle. Non negotiable, that. Also, an officiant that is sensitive and respectful to differing cultures/beliefs/lifestyles is what we're looking for. I'm hispanic and grew up Catholic and C's...well, he's not either of those things. My family loves C but they're a little bummed we're not getting married in the Church so respect and compromise is key here.
So, we wanna know. Do you know of some awesome officiant out there willing to unite a quirky couple in wedded bliss?
