@christie498:I just saw your post. Not sure what area you are looking at but what about near Pittsburgh? Because if that would work you should look into Hartwood Acres. They hold weddings there and its a gorgeous mansion. You can bring in your own everything.

There are a couple locations in Northwestern Pennsylvania... you might want to check out Mercer, Venango, and Crawford countys. They have an abundance of Victorian homes and estates... and you might discover a bed and breakfast which would fit the bill!

Hello all! I live in the Columbus, Ohio area and am planning to elope in a small ceremony and come back to Ohio for a party. We are thinking of throwing a party with about 100-150 people here. Our dilemma is that my fiance works in the service industry and can get chefs, liquor, tables, food, etc. all at a cheap cost for our reception. However, I've had some trouble finding a place where I can just rent out a space (like a private home or mansion) where we can bring in everything ourselves. It seems that every place wants you to use their caterer or their batender. Any suggestions on great locations that might meet our needs and clues to how much it might cost?
