    Hello gals!

OK so I wanted to share something with yall in hopes of maybe helping you with your fitness goals. So I have started working out again about 3 weeks ago after I had knee surgery last year. I gained like 45lbs, and i really started to not feel like myself and I knew I had to change my eating habits and start working out again.

So the last couple of weeks I had been doing really well but was dissapointed that I hadnt lost any weight (well 2lbs, but i dont really count that bc my weight fluctuates)

My mom bought me the slimquick hoodia pills last week and I have already lost 5lbs. I am so excited and happy with my results, I just had to share. Usually I am very skeptical about using diet pills because I have used them before and they made me really jittery and gave me really bad heart burn, but my mom said that the pharmacist recommended them, so I gave them a try.

No jitters, no weird feelings and I actually have more energy to workout and stuff. I always had a problem with eating and stopping when Im full and this stuff really helps. You are supposed to take 3 pills before lunch and 3 pills before dinner, but I have been taking 2 before lunch and 2 before dinner and it still works fine.

So, I just thought I would share with you guys because after feeling so down on myself, I am finally starting to feel like me again.

Stopping when you are full is a big mental issue. Try to break yourself of the habit slowly; otherwise when you lose the weight you'll just need the pills again to stop when you should. It's mind over matter. I'm not a fan of diet pills, even tho i took them for years (thanks for giving them to me, mom....not....). Slimquick in particular (little bright blue rod-shaped pills!) are in my cupboard still (why?!) b/c they made me SO SICK when I took them.

Ooo, Im sorry to hear that they made you sick!! that sucks. I have definitely taken some diet pills that have made me want to throw up. Slimquick didnt do that to me though. I feel like for right now, while Im initially starting to lose weight, that little extra help  it gives me is awesome. I know I wont be on them forever, but for now, they are great

Be careful with Slimquick, I took it as well, had the same feelings you did then forgot to take it one day after a week and felt awful! Jittery, headache, nausea, it was awful. Just be very careful!

I don't know anything about slimquick, but the hoodia pills may be more hoodia intense and less caffeine intense which causes the jitters....

I'm thinking there's probably multiple versions of it, just like all the rest....

... honeybear, I love ya, but diet pills of any kind have been repeatedly proven to be mostly mental and have not awesome side effects and the effects/ weight loss come back after you've stopped. And I don't want to see anything bad happen to you or any other girl that may be tempted to try it because of this post.

There's only one healthy way to lose weight and that's diet and exercise! Slow and steady. You might not get the results you want right away, but so much of "dieting" with exercise is that you're gaining muscle, which weighs more. It's possible that those 5 pounds were strictly water weight.

I hate to say it, but if you've lost 5 lbs in one week, it's probably all water weight. :/

Ok, first, congrats on losing the weight! I know it's exciting to see results when you're working out. It gives you the motivation to keep on going! I do want to say though, that slimquick also made me feel sick. I didn't try the pills, but I tried the cleanse & on day 1 (the morning after taking it the previous day) I woke up at 6 am & thought I was going to be sick all over the place. I had to run to the bathroom QUICK. I didn't get sick, but I definately, um, ELIMINATED EVERYTHING that was in my stomach. It was HORRIBLE.

I immediately went right back to wal-mart & got a refund. That is my slimquick experience. I will never use another one of those products! I'm glad it hasn't made you sick though!
