awwww, i know it's hard, sweetie. R&R goes by so fast, but at least he's halfway through it! It's all downhill now. My SO says stuff like that, but i'm pretty sure if I'd said "you know how to spoil me" he'd probably say "that's what she said" or "i'll spoil you, nyuck nyuck" or make a reference to something phallic...=]
EJS - I get that too but I think being away from each other for so long those comments got put on the back burner LOL
I keep telling myself we did 9 months 6-8 weeks should be nothing in comparison.

We did 8 months...then 8 more months. we were like "omg we're only halfway?!?!?" it really blew big monkey nutts.
What a great Christmas gift, no?!?!? YAY!
Maybe B-day gift - They are suppose to be in state by Nov 23 my b-day is the 25th-how sweet would that be for a 30th b-day gift! But there's always out processing so it may not happen. (fingers crossed)
We were lucky he his tour was only 1 year long - the last couple of years I've only seen him between trainings and leave.
That's really sweet. My boy is super, super stoic out in public and at work, so it's always hilarious to me how affectionate and goofy he is when he's at home with me. It's amazing! He's randomly get really really snuggle and just mutter "I love you" about every 5 minutes. Adorable.
That's so sweet! My Fi would totally say "That's what she said" or joke that I'm only with him for money (which we don't have). lol.
We'll keep our fingets crossed he's home for your b-day!
I hope he's home for yoru bday!
on a side note, our boys are both coming home "for good" at the same time =]
Now that it's mentioned the mister would totally burn me for warm and squishy - I would probably get I bet I make you warm and squishy...boys are so gross LOL
@KMSull - I am totally with you on how hilarious it is to see them get all affectionate. A soldier all romantic - its ironically funny.

FI is leaving to Afghanistan tomorrow after 2 weeks of being home and after being apart for 9 months I am 200% sure he's the one I want to spend my life with.
He calls me during my lunch break and our conversation turned to this:
me: I like you
Mr: I love you
me: I love you back, you know how to spoil me
Mr: I'm only doing what you are deserving of...
me: AAAAAAAWWWW BABE ***choked up eyes water***
