This is a general message from the ladies over at Project Wedding. There is a man who has been stealing photos from our brides (generally the brides who have been bio of the week), and making videos out of them and posting them on youtube and his website, giving them fake names.
We were able to get the videos taken down last night, but unfortunately, he’s still probably going to continue doing the same.
He still has a video posted of a wedding invitation, but it’s definitely a fake as the photo at 1:02 claiming to be the Nigral Hotel Resort in Kingston, Jamaica, is actually the Ritz in San Juan where another PW girl and I both spent part of our honeymoons.
I tried to search for the photos of the girl in this video, but I came up empty as I was just using screen shots of the video from his site.
I wasn’t sure if it was a Weddingbee girl, so I figured I’d post over here to see if anyone recognized her. Also, keep an eye on the site just in case any of your brides start to show up on it (I don’t know if WB has a similar bio of the week type thing).
Much love from the PW ladies!

This is more common than you may think. Thanks for posting this.
FYI, there are men that post here (not just ladies) just as there probably are some guys that are on project wedding.

@ajfisher: Thanks for coming over and letting us know about this! Hopefully the people in the video can be identified so the slideshow can be removed. Gosh that’s so scary!! I had another member send me a link of a dress on eBay with one of my wedding photos on the listing!! Needless to say I contacted the seller and they removed the photo, but they didn’t even send an apology.

Okay, so off topic a bit, but does anyone know what the song used in that video is?
And yes, really weird and sad that someone would bother doing that.

The video is made using an Animoto template. I recognized it right away (school librarian, we use Animoto with students at times). One can just plug in photos and Animoto will even time the movement of the video to your chosen music. This person probably spent under ten minutes making this video with stolen content.
On the bright side, if any brides are looking for video invite options, Animoto ranges from free to cheap (depending on length of video).
@VickyAurea: It may be one of the preloaded songs on Animoto, but I couldn’t find it with a quick search.
