Here’s the deal:
I placed an order @ Kirsten Kuehn desgins on Sept 12. I had already looked at order time frames and all that when I ordered, but because they are not guaranteed time frames, I figured I’d contact “customer service” to ask them if they thought my hair combs would arrive to me in time for my wedding. I figured at least I’d know- because if they were NOT going to arrive, I had no choice but to find an alternative. I was so excited, because it took me many hours to finally find the perfect hair piece for me.
When I didn’t hear anything back for 4 days using the “Contact Us” area on the website, I sent a direct email to Kirsten (she tells you you can do this on the contact us page)— I inquired if my combs were going to arrive in time, etc….
I immediately get an auto-response email explain that she has recieved my email, but she is very busy because seh personally responds to each email and handmakes all items, so give her a week or so to get back to her.
I wait about 10 days. I send another email. There is NO phone number on her website.
On the 28th of September- I finally get tired of total lack of communication. She specializes in wedding items- she should understand a little communication might be nice. So I file a dispute with PayPal. After being forced to order another hair piece from another place because I seriously can’t just bank on her coming through. So now I am out double the money just for hair items- just because she won’t communicate.
After I place my order for my new piece from Etsy, I decide to escalate the dispute to a claim.
Somewhere in there, all of this must have gotten her attention- my hair combs arrived today. I still have had ZERO communication from her. And I’ve even been checking my junk mail. And I am SO sad.

Here is what I got:
The fact that the combs are gold? I could TOTALLY handle that. She PAINTED them with a smelly, gray paint- that doesn’t look silver, and didn’t even do a good job. I received these only a couple hours ago!! The combs are also shorter than what is in the stock photo- and that kind of bummed me out, too- because I ordered the stock photo item.
I am SO thankful I ended up ordering a second hair piece. I am SO sad that these arrived like this- because I was in love with the ones from the picture 🙁
I am so afraid to just return them because due to her total lack of communication, I fear I will never get a refund! SO SAD!!!!
