Awww….I’ve so been there.  I thought for sure that it would happen on the ferris wheel near the Place de Concorde in Paris last Christmas.  Turns out, despite dropping hints since August, he didn’t even start saving for the ring until the following March.  He proposed about a month ago.

I have had a few “almosts” and perfect moments slip by and you just have to look at the good reasonsof why it didnt happen 🙂  hang in there!

Awh, I always wanted a propsal ontop a ferris wheel. It’s my favorite ride. And I agree it’d suck to get engaged and have him leave for the weekend.

I’m sorry he didn’t propose!

On the bright side, though, he didn’t make the local news as the guy who dropped the ring on top of the ferris wheel. Imagine being one of these couples?

Aww. I wanted a ferris wheel proposal too, and then I remembered I actually hate heights. But it seems so terribly romantic doesn’t it? i’d be too scared to drop the ring though!
