ok so i just have to tell someone about this because it seriously creeped me out. The other day me and FH and his mom and Dad all went out boating together .  i met them at the lake and parked my car in a empty parkinglot- once we were done boating i drove up with FH and inlaws until we got to the parking lot and i got out. some guy on a motorcyle pulled over and watched me walk from FH car to my car (didnt take his eyes off me, Fh said) kept stairing. FH dad noticed him and they decided to wait until i drove away just to make sure i was ok.... well i was unaware of this at the time. turns out the guy drives away... Fh car was still there watching, 5 minutes later guy on the bike comes around again staring at me (i was in my car, ready to start it up)- notices that FH car is still there and speeds away..... my thought was is that he saw me get out of the car, and he thought that my Fh and his family would be leaving before i left or got in my car... this really creeped me out. it really bothers me to that i was so obvvilous to it all- it makes me wonder what could of happend if FH and his family didnt notice him. usually i am so causious and really observant- i feel like somethign bad could of really happened.

Wow, that's really scary. So happy you had your FH and FIL's looking out for you. You should definitely look into buying some mace or pepper spray that you can clip onto your keys just to be safe. I was so nervous when I was in college that something would happen because my campus was in a really rough part of town. I always made sure to call FI when I was walking at night and had my keys in my hand ready to go. So happy you're safe.

I hate it when things like that happens - it makes me feel scared and vulnerable but also really pissed! Get some pepper spray and keep that FH and FILs around for sure!

That's very scary.  This reminds me of an article in the last Cosmo about women being easy targets when they are driving/going to and from their cars.  I'm glad that you are okay!

thanks everyone, i'm glad that fh and family had my back- thank god. it makes me incrediably angry too that your really not safe anywhere anymore and that there are people that will just prey on other people- its disgusting.

That's very scary.  Just a word of caution about mace - if you decide to carry it, make sure that you are trained in how to use it.  There are certain situations where it's inadvisable (as in, the wind is blowing in your face).  Glad you're all right!

You probably didn't notice because FH and his family were there. Thats how I am, I'm less observant about myself when SO is around, I pay more attention to whats happening to him lol

I'm really really glad they waited and nothing bad happened to you. Do you have pepper spray or a taser you can protect yourself with?

It's so lucky that your FI and his family were there! Did you or your FI report the suspicious guy to the police?

Super creepy. Thank goodness your FI and his family was there. I would definitely look into a defense device.
