I picked mine out and then took him to see it to see if he approved before buying it πŸ™‚

Umm, there is only one survey response option, and it’s not my answer lol.  Mine was a complete surprise.

Edit: As soon as I posted this, the rest of the options appeared.  Weird!  Never mind πŸ™‚

Mine was a surprise.  That’s how we both wanted it to be.  I had no clue and I loved it!

I dropped hints in the form of pictures of a lot of random style of rings I liked, and then he did the rest himself.

I picked mine out but it was still a total surprise because i’d never seen it except for online. I LOVE it!

Accidentally clicked the wrong option in the poll – mine was a surprise, but he knew what I liked.  His mom got engaged a while after we started dating.  When she visited us after her engagement, she showed me her ring and then asked what styles I liked.  I said I like round solitaires in white gold worn with diamond bands.  I also mentioned that I liked round stones in white metals at a party at my friend’s house right after she got engaged with a round white sapphire in platinum.  A year later he proposed with a round solitaire in a white gold setting πŸ™‚

Fiance picked mine out and it was a total surprise! I had no clue he was going to propose!

I voted “other”. Fiance was a little tricky about it. We went one day to look at rings. I found two that I absolutely, positively fell in love with. Fiance told me that he wouldn’t buy either of those rings, because he wanted to pick it out. Fast forward a year, and when he proposed, he ended up choosing one that I loved. He said that it was the perfect one, and he knew that I loved it, so he couldn’t pass it up.

We picked out the setting together.  He wanted to pick the center stone, so he did. πŸ™‚

We had ours custom made. So I chose the other option. πŸ™‚

We looked at a few styles online, and there was one halo style I particularly liked. He proposed with a surprise ring…still a halo but one I LOVE even more than the one I saw before πŸ™‚

The proposal was a total surprise, didn’t know it was coming at all! But we picked the ring out together.

I went in with my heart set on one ring, a marquise solitaire. I seen other rings that I liked but really loved the marquise. I asked my hubby which he would choice & he said the marquise solitaire. So he had say in it as well. πŸ™‚ I later on asked him why the marquise solitaire & he said because its different & really sprakly. πŸ˜› So we picked my engagement ring out together. πŸ™‚
