@KatyYoung:  I just got it resized.  Any ring should be able to be adjusted to any size.  It may slightly affect the band in terms of diamonds or etching, but no will notice but you.  I have very tiny fingers and had to have mine resized to 3.75 (and it still feels slightly loose).  The plus side of this is, that with such a small band, the diamond looks bigger than it actually is 🙂  People keep thinking my ring is 1/4 to 1/2 carat larger than it is, so I have no complaints about the resizing lol 🙂

Mine was pretty exact. He took one of my rings that I told him was the right size to the jeweler to make sure it would fit. (I actually knew he was going to propose as that ring-finger ring was missing from my jewelry box!!)

Definitely not… It was way too big. We just took it back to the jewelry store and got it resized. No big deal.

Mine was a size 6 and I wear a size 5. The guy who put in the order put in the wrong size!

No and I was annoyed bc the woman at Zales sized me and kept it on record. But she told him to have it sized after he proposed.  So I brought it back three hours after the proposal because we were in the neighborhood of the store.

The clever boy measured my finger while I was asleep!

I remember I discreetly, or not so discreetly told him 10-15 times that “I wear a 7 in everything…shoes, ring and jeans”. He’s never forgotten 🙂

No, mine was a size too small. I got it on that night because my hand was cold and I was excited. But, getting it off the next morning (after a little drinking) was awful.

I was so mad because the store sized me and then got it wrong. I had to pay about $60 to get it resized larger :-/

No, it was a 6.5 and I’m a 4.5. It had to be remounted

Nope. Mine was only a little big though, but I still got it sized a quarter size down so there wouldn’t be a chance of it falling off.

@KatyYoung:  Yes, it would fall off my finger and would spin like crazy. I got it resized ASAP. I don’t like my ring tight, but it’s just the right size for me now. I can take it off without a struggle and it doesn’t spin (unless it’s really cold).
