1.It could be grease leaking from the drum bearing. This is an expensive repair- usually better to buy a new machine.
2.Clean the lint filter. Run the machine through a cycle without any clothes . Add 1-2 cups of vinegar to the hot wash water.
After that, add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle of each load of clothes and don’t use fabric softener.
Don’t use too much detergent. Overusage can give you build up and mould in the machine. If you are using the pods of detergent pierce the pack and tip half into a small container (my machine repair man told me to do that). Only use 1/2 per wash
The spots makes me wonder if it’s filling with water properly. Just watch it while it’s filling to see if it’s running at a good flow and that it’s filling up to where it should be.
If it’s not, maybe you could add water to it yourself at the beginning? You might need to run it twice though, as there’s probably not enough water during the rinse cycle either.
A whille ago i came across a person who took their machine a part to clen it. You could try that. JGo to youtube or google your machine and there will most likely be instructions to help guide you
