Oooh. We live in North Carolina, our families are from the Midwest, and we're having our wedding here (easier to plan, less expensive, and we wanted a smaller wedding without having to decide which members of our enormous families not to invite). Now I feel bad :(
I loooove this article. Geez, she sure did bring him back to Earth. Seems like she said what a lot of people just think about weddings.
I love Carolyn Hax--I always hear her responses as though they are being read by Lorelei Gilmore...
