I always dreamed of a lace dress, but out of the 30 or so dresses I tried on none of them were flattering on me, with the exception of a 3200 dollar dress. That’s way more than I wanted to spend on a dress, so I went with a fit and flare dress with a lace bodice and plain train. Some of you may have seen the pics of it I posted. Anyway, I love watching “SYTTD”, but it always makes me feel like I could have done better. That bridal shop in Atlanta has stunner dresses also. *sigh* Anyone else feel dress regret when watching the show?

All of the time! But you know their one rule is that you have to stop looking after you find your dress. I think it’s natural, I’ve had and am still going through some dress regret, but I can’t stop watching that show. I’m addicted! I guess we bring it upon ourselves!

No regret for me, but it does make me think about other dress styles. Although the logical side of my brain says no, you chose the most flattering shape for you so SHUT UP. Hehe.

As a matter of fact, watching SYYTD did the exact opposite for me. I had watched so much of it that I was dreading dress shopping. I didn’t think I was going to be able to find anything I loved in my budget and was prepared to settle for something affordable but pretty and nice.
I ended up with something that far exceeded my expectations (and hopes) and easily fit within my budget.

Always! Thats why I stopped watching it, cause it made me feel like I could’ve found something so much better… :c

@greenidlady: Yes. In fact, I had not even seen SYTTD before I was married. I also did not join WB until after I was married. Once I started seeing some of these incredibly amazing gowns on TV and on this site, I definitely have experienced some dress regret.

At first I felt the same way. Especially when my dress was on the show and they didn’t like it!! But, I love mine and once I tried it on again I felt like the regret was such a waste of emotion. There are so many dresses and your dress found you for a reason!

Seriously, I’d never spend anything close to what those girls spend on dresses. They are so out of my price range it’s funny.
