I had the same problem when I had my first dress fitting. I wore spanx to help with the bloating.

i got my dress a few weeks ago :D . i went to my 1st alteration appointment a few days later and the seamstress said she was going to take it in two inches :D however, i went for a second fitting last weekend and the dress was fitting tight. there wasn't even anything to bring in :[ as of this afternoon, my dress won't zip up.. :[ is this normal? i told the seamstress my period is due any day now (it's VERY irregular so it's ok that i'm late), but i don't know if that's the only reason the dress won't fit... ugh.. what if they do the alterations and i don't de-bloat?? and now the dress has all those pin marks.. bleh.. i'm freaking out here :[ stupid periods!
