I was just wondering if anyone has ever been to the Hamilton Waterfront Centre Banquet Hall? I am interested in holding my wedding there, but can’t get out there to see it until next week! Can anyone tell me anything about it?!

I’m using the Waterfront Centre as my wedding venue. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it’s gorgeous on the inside. If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me!

I’m using it for my March wedding. I will tell you this, its got great options for you to choose from as far as food and packages for very reasonable prices. The reception room is pretty and it has an amazing view of the lake from it. The only thing that I don’t like is our ceremony room. Its the room that they’ll set up for you for all your late night stuff. Its very blah, but we can dress it up which is great. If you’re doing a summer wedding they have a gorgeous tree on the lake that you have your ceremony under. Jenna, the wedding co-ordinator is amazing! She’s answered all of my questions fully and by the next day. They also offer great payment plans. A deposit every couple of months, with the final, remaining amount due a week before the wedding.
As far as set up and take down for anything additional, you only have the day of your wedding to do everything. They said that its possible for a Friday set up if they don’t have another wedding that day. They include centrepieces as well in the cost, if that’s something you’d be interested in. BONUS: they’re DJ is included in the venue cost! Its an extra $75 though if you want him to do your ceremony.
If you have any other questions about it let me know and I’ll do my best to answer them for you! Good luck!
Oh, there’s also tons of hotels near by if you need to reserve some rooms for out of town guests.

Thank you for the responses! I knew I would find some bees on here who have/will be using them!
I am hoping to get ahold of someone tomorrow with some pricing questions but maybe you guys will know,
1) what is the cost for a ceremony outside? I am having a July wedding and would love to get married over looking the lake 🙂
2) if you have things you want to set up, do you have to send someone to do that or will they do set up for you? I love that you can go in Friday if there are no weddings going on!
3) how many weddings do they have going on at one time here?
4) I’ve been looking at their packages which are amazing, but noticed it is based on a 140 person minimum on a Saturday. We were only planning to have 120, what happens if you don’t reach the minimum? Are they flexible? Do you pay some sort of room rental fee instead or something?!
Thanks so much! Sounds like a great place so far, very excited about it 🙂

@TKG83: Don’t forget uplighting is included too! That was a huge selling point for me!
