I picked up my dress today and had a first fitting!
A couple changes that will be made: I will be removing the puff balls from the chest and hip arounds and it will need to be alittle tighter.
My ceromony will be outside… in Michigan …. in October. lol I bought the bolero as a just in case. We are getting married under a cycamore tree with a rustic vintage fibe.
Please let me know what you bees think. 😉

I think the pattern of the bolero is wrong for this dress, it would look nicer with a plain sheer fabric I think! But the dress doesn’t look wrong with ‘a’ bolero, just not that one IMO 🙂

Sorry, I don’t think that bolero goes with the dress at all.

You look so beautiful in your dress! I tend to agree though, something about this particular bolero is just off. I think it really takes away from your dress!

@pengoala: Thank you for being kind and honest! 🙂 I love my dress and do not want to take attention away from it. I can see how the pattren is alittle over powering. Perhaps it would look better with a plain dress.
@christoffels: Thank you so much your input. I was looking at this bolero because our ceremony is outside in October and it is made of mohair, which is very warm and soft. So sheer wont work.
Maybe I should go without?

@FutureMrsD2013: Yeah, I definitely think no bolero! Without will look beautiful! 🙂
