@Corgi-cariad:  I tried on Sydney and loved everything except for the neckline, which I thought I would love. The neckline has tulle on top of the “jagged” sweetheart detail (not sure how to describe it) and unlike in the photo, it just didn’t lay flat on me. It looked a bit messier and less-tailored than I would have liked. But the tulle on the skirt and its general fullness were beautiful, and I loved the oatmeal color. It was really flattering on my body; I just didn’t love it as much as I thought I was going to.

I’m 5’5″ and a size 6 US, larger on top and pretty much nothing on the bottom.

I tried the Sydney and the Chantelle and either passed on the Olivia or tried it on quickly and took it off (I like the little flowers on others, just not for me). I had a similar experience to @maydeco  with the Sydney, I think.  The Chantelle, I thought the skirt looked too much like opera theater curtains in real life.  It fit very well though and was very light and easy to wear.  The bodice was a little more drapey than I like (I have larger boobs so the whole top was kind of billowing) but that might have been alter-able, though there wasn’t much structure to it.  I think it was one of my MILs top picks.  There was a different one I tried, and I wish I could have had the skirt of that other one (it looked more like scarves) and the bodice of the Chantelle, it would have been awesome.

I’m about 5’5″ and the same dress size as you.

Hi Ladies!

I’m selling my Watters Sydney gown – size 14, ivory/oatmeal – new with tags. I bought this a few months ago (a year before my wedding) from a small boutique that stopped selling wedding gowns. I got it for $1,800 (retails for $2,000+). It was tight when I bought it and I figured I would lose the weight, but I really don’t want to stress myself out trying to do that on top of wedding planning. Asking for $1,500 OBO.

If anyone is interested, please email me at heintzfm@gmail.com!
