Weird. I got my Watters dress exactly one month after I ordered it. The bridal shop told me that Watters was ahead and all dresses were coming early.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh nnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooo! "running behind"??? my Watters dress is scheduled to come in 4-6 days before we fly off to our destination wedding. literally. i hope this is just a rumor!!
I'm not trying to alarm anyone. I'm just saying that my dress is a week late. When I heard about Watters dresses running late, I'm pretty sure they were talking about BM dresses.
@sleepylittlesailor- Your is due to arrive in about 3 weeks? When did you order?
Okay, I just asked my bridal salon, and they have emailed Watters for confirmation or explanation or update.
ArizonaBride: I rush-ordered my dress in September! It was my backup (aka, my "I hate my dress and I need a replacement wwwwaaaaaah") dress. I got a "locked-in" delivery date of November 5th, with a promise that it would be overnighted from Watters to the shop, and overnighted from the shop to me no later than November 10th. Leaving me a few short days for alterations. I have a seamstress on call, who says it'll be no problem on her end. Hmmm.
@sleepylittlesailor - Well, it sounds like you're covered! Good to know how they work it for rush orders.
Maybe they look at your wedding date when you just place a normal order. I'm going to give it another week and then call the shop.
I don't know if I special ordered it "rush" or not. I know they contacted Watters to make sure it was possible. And I do know my dress is one of those listed as possible to get in a rush, on the Watters website.... It might even be a design-by-design difference?
The bridal salon called today and my dress is here!!! Ten days later than they told me, but it's here! Very excited!
bump.... anyone have any updates on Watters dresses coming in on time v. late?
I have not much to add, but wanted to keep this conversation going.
I ordered my watters dress at the end of August and my bridal salon told me 4-5 months. I was hoping that it would come in early so I hope they are not behind!
I am jealous of sskati. We ordered the same dress and she got hers in a month, no fair! :)
I had to return it though. The neckline was messed up and wasnt the same as the sample. So I returned it the day I got it and they ordered a new one. We will see when this one comes. I wonder if the difference between me and the other girls is Canada vs USA. I wonder if that makes a difference.
My Watters dress came in a week earlier than expected!! No problems at all :)
I ordered my dress on August 31st and it came in to the bridal salon on November 16th.
I ordered mine the middle of September and I got it the end of November.

The bridal salon I ordered from told me to expect my dress on October 12th. They haven't called yet. I heard from other shops that the Watters has been running behind. I have plenty of time, but I was just wondering if any bees out there could tell me if their dresses were on time or not.
