I almost bought the watters austin dress – I uploaded a picture of me in it in the dress shop.  I can answer any questions you have about it as well.  It was a very high contender for me and I liked it a lot!  I didn’t try the Lasara though…

I ordered the Watters Austin – here is a picture of me trying on the sample.  Sorry the picture is not super clear, it was taken with my cell phone.  I tried it on with a belt by Martina Liana instead of the floral belt that comes with it.

I hope you like it!

Hi date twin!

I LOVE the Austin. I’ve already picked out my dress, but if I could have any other, it would be the Austin.

Good luck!

Hi!

I actually purchased the Austin and am now trying to sell it because I fell more in love with Watters Torreon! PM me if you are interested in purchasing the Austin (size 6, white in color). Here is a pic of me in the sample dress with a beaded sash instead of the flowered belt….

That dress is gorgeous! I love how feminie the floral sash looks! So pretty! I actually really like it with OP’s beaded sash too.

i didn’t try on the lasara – that kind of floral embroidery or embellishment just didn’t appeal to me as much – but the austin is a dream of a dress. i ordered mine just before christmas (thanks santa, and dad!). both seem like romantic, flowy dresses, but i love that the austin is so light and am so excited to dance in it!

it’s definitely not the most body-conscious or necessarily flattering dress (because of the volume and the chiffon at the top, too), but those that were felt too sexy to me for my wedding. mind you, i say this after considering a nicole miller sheath that looked better than any other dress i’ve ever worn – but the skirt and chiffon and romance of this dress (all things i thought i didn’t want) totally won me over!!!
