Your waist is tiny in the maggie but I like how the watters skims your hip and I’m always drawn to a contrasting belt.  I don’t think I like the lace that flutters above the neckline on the maggie.  The more I look the more it feels like when I look at Maggie I see the dress wearing you, when I look at Watters I see you wearing the dress.  So I think Watters has the edge for me, pretty dress!

I think that you look stunning in the Maggie, so that would be my personal pick.  But if you’re not 100% sold on it, there’s still time to keep looking.  Check out the Maggie Sottero Lorie – it’s an all over lace a-line dress with a sweetheart neckline.  It’s also a popular design of hers, so your chances are really good of finding a sample to try on in your area.

BowTiedKangaroo:  The right size and tailoring do magical things!  You might try wearing a garment underneath (I forget what these are called – a petticoat kind of thing) to add fullness to the dress past your hip so it blends out into more of an A-line if you are self conscious.  But I think it looks great as it is, nothing wrong with showing some hip.  That is part of why I like the watters better, looks more sophisticated and natural than the maggie in my opinion.  And like someone else said, you can keep looking.  If you find that you just keep thinking about & going back to this watters then you’ll know.

I’m sorry, I know you love the waters, but the Maggie is so much more flattering IMO. I think you need to hunt for the exact dress with the lace you love but a true aline, unless they clipped the waters in the back over your hips and took what was an aline and made it into a trumpet? you have a gorgeous hourglass figure, and I guess I’m stuck on what a pretty shape the Maggie shows with the little waist.

They are both nice but the first one has much more of a wow effect.  It’s so pretty and very flattering!

BowTiedKangaroo:  Damn, the maggie is a stunner from in back and the veil is SO pretty.  The watters is more my personal taste (and maybe yours too) but it’s hard to argue with those last maggie pictures.  I say keep looking at dresses, it doesn’t hurt.  These two dresses are getting you closer to the finish line by showing you what you like and what flatters you.

BowTiedKangaroo:  Another bee already suggested it, but I would also reccomend trying on Maggie Sottero Lorie.  It has everything you’re looking for (allover lace, sweetheart, a-line) but it has a deeper sweetheart and in my opinion the lace pattern would be more flattering.  The Watters has a beautiful fit, but my eyes are drawn to the bottom of the dress because of the linear lace.  Just my opinion.  Here is a picture of me in Lorie for reference.  I’m larger than you and have more of a belly so this sample was a bit more clingy on me, but I still like the shape.  (Sorry it came out sideways)
