I would get it done 2 or 3 days before the wedding to let the redness go down before the wedding night. That should last you until you are back from the honeymoon.

@piglover: Completely agree, this is pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

I had my first bikini wax 3 weeks ago and I still have minimal regrowth.  It is true that after your first three cycles you should have less hair.  I definitely wouldn’t be comfortable in a bathing suit at this point, but you’re supposed to get your first 3 waxes with 1 month in between each, and I definitely won’t be ready to get waxed in a week or so (and I’m a hairy girl).  I definitely think you will be able to get by on the wax for a little more than 2 weeks.

I would agree to get the wax 2 days before the wedding, worst case you’ll have to shave a little on the honeymoon, use bikini zone to help the bumps go down.

Some waxing centers offer lotion to help slow growth after hair removal, honestly have not tired it myself but have heard some products work.

If you are in the area of a “European Wax Center” yelp the place closest to you for a good waxing lady. The wax they use is less painful because it only sticks to your hair, not the skin. They also have great products for ingrown hairs and lotion for slow growth.
