You’re braver than I’ll ever be for waxing yourself! I don’t think I could ever bring myself to pull the wax off. When I get it done I find that breathing out when the wax is pulled and lots of baby powder (weird… but waxing makes me sweat which makes it harder for the hair to come out) helps make the process somewhat doable.

I find using an arnica gel helps! Arnica is a natural anti-inflamitory and really helps reduce the pain.

So you do them yourself? I would get it done professionally because I bet that is the source of the majority of your pain.

Well, ibuprofen is better but any pain killer will help – tylenol, aspirin, etc. You can also get numbing sprays with lidocaine in them – you want to apply maybe a half hour before you’re going to wax, so it has time to work. They don’t make you completely numb, but it helps.

Go the pro route!! They’ll take less than half the time you will then apply some aloe Vera gel WO alcohol for the residual feeling. Oh and don’t forget to do it a couple of days before you leave so the redness has time to. Fade away!
